We had a late start to the day, and had a late breakfast – all intentional. Laura’s been a little poorly, likely to be a change in food, so we took it a little slower. Plus we intend to go to the Freddy Mercury Tribute act that’s on in the evening.
Because we were late, someone was already sitting on “our” normal beds, so we sat elsewhere, a couple of rows in front, but that meant no shade when the sun was at it’s peak… boy was it hot!!!
We aimed for dinner for around 7.30pm as the show started at 9.15pm and we wanted to get a good seat. Unfortunately Laura was still feeling poorly, so just Adam and I went for dinner. We had to queue a little, but it was good timing really, a new set of holiday makers had come in, and when we left the restaurant the queue to get in was about 20 couples (or groups) deep.
We got pretty good seats in the theatre, and waited. The band setup their instruments and were fairly subdued, and wore normal clothes – Adam asked if that’s what it was going to be like? – Laura and I had the pleasure of seeing this band last June, so no, that’s not what they were going to be like.
They were excellent, fun and very entertaining. Adam did have a shock when the lead singer dressed up for “I want to break free” – See picture below as to why he was shocked.

I took a little snippet of video too…
Great entertainment, I FaceTimed Laura a few times so she could enjoy the show too 😀, we really enjoyed it, and sang along in our very loud voices. The crowd enjoyed it so much they did 2 encores – they were obviously expecting one, but the second encore, the lead singer came out doing his trousers up… clearly unexpected (or not if you’re very cynical 🤨😂)
Update…
I forgot to mention, we were also late to lunch, and the only table available for the 3 of us was inside the Sports Bar. Aside from being hot a humid inside, they also had the Liverpool v Wolves football match on the TV’s and there were about 100 Liverpool supporters watching the game (actually it was about 6 people, but when Liverpool scored, it sounded like 100…) and then like all good football supporters screams of “Come on Ref”, “Pass It”, “Get up”, “That’s not a foul” – was littered through our brief lunch….
