It’s Sunday, and they forecast rain… and they meant it. 9.30am and the clouds roll in along with the thunder and lightning and the rain.
I had a brief pause in my breakfast of sausage, scrambled egg, grilled tomatoes (that I found were actually deep fried and not grilled) and beans, to pop back to the sun loungers and collect our towels and things and come back. Some fool hardy folk were resolute in staying wrapped up in their towels saying “it’s only a passing shower” – we’ll see. We’re on the zoom meeting for Wellcome Church at 12.30 and I’m not sure if getting struck by lightning is in Gods plan, it’s certainly not in mine…

Not really much to write about today… we attended the Wellcome Church Zoom meeting, the audio was terrible, I must do something about that. The weather didn’t improve, so we just hung out in the room, watched a couple of films and had a doze.
It’s still pretty rubbish this evening, very windy, so I’ll finish the blog, read some – oh I’m trying the Scott Mariani books – The Ben Hope Collection… I’ll let you know what I think, then off to bed. It’s supposed to rain again tomorrow too. We’re thinking of getting the bus in to Protaras on Tuesday or Wednesday.

It sounds and looks terrible but as Dad said, bet its warmer there than it is here!
