Friday was a good day (even if we did wear socks), we went back to the White Cliffs of Dover so that Adam could take his photos. It was SOOOO windy that we didn’t go very far along for fear of being blown off the cliff. So here are some of the photographs.
We then had coffee, in the coffee shop of all places, stocked up on pressies and stuff. As we were paying, a family of 4, Mum, Dad, two small girls c.8years old were asking about the walk to the light house, well they said that was a good 50 minute walk… They were going for it… not a great idea IMHO but there you go.
We went back to the lodge to do a spot of packing – boo – and then went to the pub in the village, The Kings Head, for dinner. It was very nice, the service was great and the food was fabulous, a nice pub.
After dinner we went to the private beach threw some stones into the sea had a walk and went back to the lodge to sleep off all of the food.
