Where did that week go? Fortunately we can look back on this blog series and find out, but it has gone quick. I’m so pleased we have a whole other week here.
As it’s Saturday we had a nice breakfast (just like every day so far), this time I had the full English, sausage, bacon, beans, tomatoes, scrambled eggs. Plus a nice peppermint tea, laura had pretty much the same except her tea was lemon.

I don’t know what to do about another book, I’ve finished the series of the Thursday Murder Club, the 4th book not due out for another year. I’m trying “The Catch” by TM Logan, but I just can’t seem to get invested in the characters, and that’s 14 chapters in. I’ll try and find something else.
Lunch was Chicken and Salad, there may have been a cinnamon swirl (OK there was a cinnamon swirl) but there was also fruit and a pina colada…
The day has been spent in the garden, reading, listening to music, watching the odd YouTube video, oh and snoozing. Right now we’re back in the room having a rest before a little walk before dinner.

It’s Far East night in the restaurant this evening, so maybe Chinese / Japanese / Korean food… we’ll see.
So we decided against the walk in the end, there is just more hotel fronts to the left of the bay, and then you’ll get to Famagusta,
We had talked about going on the Famagusta tour which took you into the Ghost Town which has only been opened for about 4 months. But, last night we overhead a couple who went on the tour – they spent about 4 hours travelling around Cyprus picking people up and never had very long at the town, the most time was spent, apparently, in Nicosia shopping… So we’ve decided against it, instead, next week, we’ll get a bus ride in to Protaras.
Dinner was very Chinese ORIENTed (see what I did there?). Egg fried rice, stir fried veg, spring rolls, duck, noodles, exactly what you’d expect and hope for. It was great. Every day so far the food has not disappointed.
Off to finish the red wine, maybe get some cheese and biscuits… catch you on the next instalment….

It might be worth having a look at the Ben Hope books by Scott Mariani, good adventures. Dad just said that Richard Osmond has written more books than the Thursday Murder Club series, don’t know their names.
