Another good night sleep, not the 10 hours of the previous night, we went to bed a little later – I was updating the blog, trying to recall the other holidays we’ve been on and add a holding entry so I can come back later to it.
Breakfast was a good as the previous day, I had bran flakes again followed by scrambled egg, tomatoes and beans – again. Laura had scrambled egg too.
Today was another lazy day by the pool, well not so lazy as it turned out, we both went in the swimming pool and did some actual swimming, I even went in twice.
Now, to say the pool was freezing was an understatement, I’m sure there was a layer of ice on the pool, backed up by the penguins and polar bear vacating the pool to warm up… it was COLD 🥶. We were told the sea was warmer – maybe we’ll try that tomorrow.

We sat in a different spot today, it got most of the sun until about 3.30pm, which is when we decided to come back to the room for a rest before going for a walk up to the shops before dinner.
We went for a little walk up to the supermarket, picked up a couple of bags of crisps, some small big bags (we couldn’t get nappy sacks in there, and if you’ve been to Cyprus before, or understand the small bore sewage system, you don’t need me to explain why we picked up extra bin bags).
Dinner was “International Night”, we had carrot soup, followed by beef in commandaria sauce with mini onions, I had it with crushed herby potatoes and Laura had Basmati Rice with star anise and cinnamon and brussel sprouts. Desert was a selection of melon, and some naughty bits.

We’re currently having a brandy sitting outside on the terrace, looking over the bay, with cats running around and palm trees waving in the light breeze… time to turn off and enjoy the rest of the night…
