Adam and I went swimming this morning, 32°C in the pool which sounds warm but it wasn’t really. But it was nice and counts as exercise.
Mum/Carol and Laura went for a walk down to the beach while we were swimming and sea was very choppy.
Laura took a few pictures of the sea (there’s surprise).
We’re popping into Deal (or No Deal) later to find a bank as we forget to get any cash out before we came away.
The town of Deal is a decent size made all the better Mark1 Music Store which looks like it may have potential.
There were also drums in the window so Adam was happy too. One to look out after the bank holidays me thinks.
We found the bank and relieved the cash machine of some of its wares, and just along the road was a proper traditional sweet shop… but it was 1.10pm and it was shut until 1.30pm so we’ll be going back another day.
We did have a wander round but most of the shops were shut apart from a couple of charity shops but nothing was purchased.
We came back and watched the Royal Flotilla Pageant to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee.
Adam wanted to go swimming again, so we came over to the bar, watched him for a while then had a drink in the bar.
