Looking at the weather forecast for today, and the next few days, it would appear the weather is changing and not for the better. Thunderstorms expected, 50% chance of rain, so today we will be sitting in the garden with the intention of relaxing, maybe going for a swim in the sea.
There was a lovely sunrise this morning, couldn’t resit a quick pic, but I was peering round the curtain as I’d just got out of bed…

There was an fantastic cloud formation over the beach this morning, really pleased with the picture below.

We did exactly what we wanted to do, after lunch had a lovely swim in the sea. It was a little chilly to start with, but no where near as cold as the pool. We put the open water swim fitness on our watches and below are our swim routes (quite cool I think)

Laura’s swim, and fun in the sea. The red pin, is roughly where our sun loungers were.

Neil’s fun in the sea, including a bit of a swim out in the bay. There were some nice fishes – If fishes could be tame, these seemed to be, happily swimming under me.
The route you can see on both mine and Laura’s pictures near the bottom of the pictures is a walk up to the showers to rinse the sand off.

I finished the first of the Ben Hope books, I really enjoyed it. In the footnotes of the book, the author explains that the root of the book was all based in fact, very interesting. Adam would enjoy it for sure.
I’ve started on the next book in the series.
We went back to the room after a while to shower and get rid of the sand – it really does get everywhere.
We took a wander up to the shop, Laura needed a nail file, maybe snacks… there was another amazing cloud formation during the sunset.

We’re currently outside, enjoying a drink, Laura is reading which is what I’ll do as soon as I hit publish on this post.
You are both a lovely colour, looking really relaxed.
