What a day… Up at 3am to have enough time to wake up to pickup mum and dad. Laura didn’t have any sleep, and I (Neil) had about 3hours . Adam didn’t have much more…
The day started great, no traffic on the M25 and free tolls as it was 4.30am… After that things went down hill…
For the car park at Gatwick, we used Purple Parking and went the wrong way to get there…
The plane was delayed about an hour, we were in row 2 on the plane which was good, but they had the worlds worst seats. The plane was an Airbus A320 which are normally used for short, European flights so it was smaller than we’ve used in the past. There was a lot of duty free alcohol consumed by people on their way to Ayia Napa and the inevitable fight ensued, so there was a brief delay getting of the plane…
Dad nearly lost his luggage to a young lady who had the same case, but managed to rescue it.
We were in Coach Number 1 which naturally was the last to leave, but we were the third stop, except there was such a traffic jam (I know, in Cyprus) the coach driver had to drop us off down the road a way.
We checked in at 18:45 Cyprus time (16:45 Uk Time) so over 12 hours travelling, we were informed that sinned was server from 18:45 until 21:45… Just in time.
We did some unpacking and went down for dinner….. How many points? I couldn’t say, but we worked out that as fruit is zero points, if you have ice cream for 4 points, multiple that by the fruit points, then 4×0=Zero Points!! Excellent….
The room is nice with a good view of the pool area and we can see the sea too… oh and it’s HOT!!!!!!! 🙂
