We went to Teguise Market which is in, no surprise, in Teguise which is, roughly, in the middle of the island, 3/4 of the way up. Anyway, the market was huge and sprawled over the town, which is old and looks like the builders had no concept of a straight line.
A point in case, this bell tower thing looked like it was made of icing.
We went around the market and stopped at an English food van for a drink and doughnuts. Mum bought a bracelet. Had another walk around then had a beer. Laura was looking for something light to wear and found a stall selling very nice white cotton clothes. She got a long white skirt, which can double as a dress, a white cotton embroidered top and a dress that can be worn as skirt.
Here’s some more pictures taken in Teguise market:
Oh and there was a REALY BIG door… Part of some sort of temple and exhibition centre / museum… No trick photography here (I’m not that clever)
On the way back we stopped off at a shopping centre with a HyperDino (Not an excited pet from the Flintstones) to get some shopping and Mum bought a nice turquoise handbag.
Hey, enjoying reading your blog too, great pics too
