A relaxing day today, we had breakfast fairly early, about 8.30am, came back to the room to collect our pool towels and headed off. It was another hot day, the sun was very hot, so lots of factor 50 applied.
We spent the time reading, I’m finishing off a Ben Hope book from the last holiday ( I don’t read that much these days), Laura is reading The Cruise, and Adam is reading Ready Player Two, after finishing off Ready Player One.
Lunch was good, and afterwards Adam went back to the room for a doze… This is his first real relaxing holiday since he started working full time, and he needs to de-stress, just like I used to (and still do 😀 ).
There were a couple of cats hiding in the shadows away from the heat of the day, and of course Laura had to say hello. The black cat looked like Toothless from How To Train a Dragon…
Laura and I came back to the room about 3ish had a shower and popped to the shops to pick up a beach bag, and a few snacks, and a fridge magnet of course.
We had an early dinner, about 6.30, so that we could come back to the room and watch the sunset… photo’s below
Not much planned tomorrow – more of the same – Lovely, just how we like it. Later in the week, or next, we plan to get the bus from the hotel to Puerto Morgan, a lovely town, very pretty. We’ll probably get a taxi back so we have a little longer there.
